  They called me back literally 5 minutes later saying they checked the drive and that the data was unretrievable. I got in to pick it up and the guy said "that will be a $70 minimum charge". I respectfully inquired why I was being charged after 5 days of dragging this out for me. The guy gave me lip straight away and said that there's more jobs on the go than just me. I was shocked and just paid and walked out telling Him I won't be back.

  I called up the next day as I hadn't received a call yet. They said it will be another day or so.. I explained that I'm in a hurry and I only need the drive checked over to see if information is retrievable.

  I went in to data parts to inquire about MacBook pro's as I was in the market to buy one. From the moment I walked in I got treated like I wasn't actually a customer. The staff member was reluctant to answer any questions I had about specs and to be honest was making me feel like a bit of an idiot, and like he didn't want to be bothered. I ended up buying a MacBook Pro from JB HiFi elsewhere. I'm all for supporting small businesses but I didn't really sense a small business mentality or interest in helping me out.

  I didn't hear back the next day so I called again. The staff were unhelpful and said they will call me when it was done. He said no later than 2 days time. In 2 days time I called back and the man said "oh sorry they haven't got to it yet our computers are down"

  I had an external hardrive fail that had important information I needed to retrieve. I called up data parts and explained that I needed the information retrieved asap as I was running a business. the guy on the phone was friendly and said to bring it in the same day and they would have a look let me know the same day.

  That night I plugged my drive in and all the files showed up!!! I'm convinced that the people at data parts didn't look over my drive at all. Absolutely shocking service and self entitled bad attitude. The tall guy who served me is a disgrace and I hope he gets what's coming for him. THERE'S SOMETHING GOOD THAT COMES BACK WHEN U LOOK AFTER PEOPLE AND IT WONT BE COMING BACK FOR DATA PARTS SHEPPARTON
